USAID

Acquisition and Program Management Support

Support the Office of Acquisition & Assistance Professional Development & Training Division’s and Center for Continuous Learning (PDT-CCL) training school. Focus areas include: 1) workforce needs assessment and analysis, 2) acquisition and assistance SME support, 3) leadership essentials training, and 4) leading internal and external strategic partnerships to support USAID staff worldwide. 

GSA

Program Management and Acquisition Support 

Provided program management and acquisition support to Federal Systems Integration and Management (FEDSIM). Responsible for crafting complex requirements into innovative solutions for contract awards in excess of $1 billion.

Led a team of acquisition, program, finance and quality personnel that supported the successful EXPRESS pilot that created a consistent set of expedited acquisition offerings that had standardized timelines, processes and procedures, templates, etc.

Awarded 34 contracts with obligations totaling $132.5M and total ceiling of $268M within a 15-month span with 24 awards made to small businesses.

USDA

Workforce Development Training

Created workforce development curriculum and facilitated training for contracting officers to improve their consulting skills. Training focused on the acquisition team, conflict resolution, alternative analysis, communication messaging, and emotional intelligence. Instruction was a mixture of traditional facilitation and active engagements between the participants focused on application of principles which were tested throughout the program.

Results Achieved

  • 99.9% of performance metrics successfully achieved over course period.
  • 96.6% of attendees realized improvement in acquisition and collaboration techniques.
  • 70% of attendees recognized an improvement in active communication.

FEMA

Acquisition and Program Management Support

Provided support to the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) under the Acquisition Support Services BPA. Managed the entire acquisition lifecycle with support that included: strategy development, pre-award acquisition planning, and market research, source selection, and contract preparation. 

Completed an organizational assessment of FIMA’s Risk Management Directorate (RMD) acquisition portfolio, COR responsibilities and workload. The process entailed a multi-phase approach to include data collection, analysis and identification of strategic changes and action planning. Post assessment, resulted in recommendations to improve COR performance and gaps in the RMD portfolio workforce.
